OHDZ
OHDZ was a creative design collective formed by three Korean designers in Canada. Blending illustration, industrial design, and art direction, they explored how new encounters could turn into meaningful design outcomes. By collaborating with local shops like Slow Turtle Shop, producing weekly abstract visuals on Instagram, and creating branded goods such as socks and stickers, OHDZ built a distinctive identity and actively connected with the local creative community.
Logo
The OHDZ logo is designed in a rounded, bold, and fluid form, with each letter seamlessly connected. This flowing structure reflects the brand’s 3E philosophy—every encounter ultimately leads to shared experiences and creative expansion.
Encounter | Experience | Expansion
OHDZ’s design philosophy begins with 3E: Encounter, Experience, and Expansion.
Born from their own journey as three Korean designers in Canada, this framework reflects how they transform unfamiliar encounters into shared experiences and, ultimately, creative growth.

Socks
As part of the store’s branding, the team created a character that became Bookee, a friendly turtle mascot developed through several drafts. Bookee was later used in social media posts as simple illustrations and animations, helping the brand feel more friendly and connected to its audience.
